The Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center is conveniently located near a

Crown Center
Crown Center features more than 80 shops and restaurants. You can pick up some souvenirs from the Best of Kansas City shop or Amy’s Hallmark, or grab a bite to eat at one of the dozens of restaurants located in Crown Center. Take a stroll and see the iconic fountains outside of Crown Center or catch a show at the Coterie Theatre. The Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center is connected to Crown Center via a glass-enclosed, climate-controlled skywalk called “The Link.”

National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial
The National World War I Museum and Liberty Memorial honors the memory of those who served and sacrificed their lives in the war. The museum features hundreds of artifacts, life-size trench replicas and hanging WWI era airplanes. Walk through the museum and follow the progression of the war starting with a video explaining the building alliances, the war in Europe and finally, how the U.S. got involved.

Special: The museum is offering $2 off an admission ticket to anyone attending a conference in Kansas City. To receive the discount, just show your conference nametag at the ticket counter.

Check out the Hallmark Visitors Center to meet the creators of Hallmark’s most popular products, see a bow-making machine in action, and view an Emmy Award in Hallmark’s Hall of Fame. This free visitors center is located on the Hallmark campus, just a short walk from the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.

SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium
Located on the Crown Center campus, the SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium features 5,000 sea creatures in more than 260,000 gallons of water. You canview the aquarium’s 30 displays, including a 180-degree tunnel visitors can walk through while fish swim overhead. Visitors can even take part in an interactive touchpool experience.

Boulevard Brewing Company Tour
Take a free 40-minute walking tour of Boulevard Brewing Company, Kansas City’s local brewery. You’ll learn about the brewery’s history and brewing process. The tour ends in the Tasting Room, where you can sample classic Boulevard brews, or some of its specialty beers that are only available at the brewery.
