J.D. Power Survey Reveals Pharmacy Customers’ Digital Habits

The recently released J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Pharmacy Study found that most people still see value in face-to-face pharmacy interactions. 

Customers enjoy visiting their brick-and-mortar pharmacy and they get a great deal of satisfaction from speaking directly with pharmacists. However, the potential for technology disruption is there,” said Greg Truex, managing director of Health Intelligence at J.D. Power. 

Only about 20 percent of patients reported using a pharmacy’s mobile app, but the ones who did were significantly more satisfied with their pharmacy than those who didn’t use an app.
